We want to assure you always have a quality and safe experience using Barfly. We provide a variety of tools to control your experience.
You can filter the content displayed by other users on the app. Tap the three dots icon next to any user's photo or video (other than your own) and a menu appears with the following options:
While the content will still be available to other users, you will not see it again.
The report will contain the offending user's id as well as the photo/video that was reported.
We will eject the user who provided the content within 24 hours.
If you mistakenly tap “Report” you have the option to cancel your request.
If you are the owner of the content, tap the 3 dots next to your photo or video. Then tap Delete and your content will be permanently removed from the database.
If you are Friends with the user and want to block them, tap Block on their profile page. This removes them as a Friend, hides all their content and blocks their ability to search for you or you to search for them. You can always unblock on the blocked user page if you wish to restore contact.
From Friends search, tap the “X” next to their name, or from their profile page, tap the 3 dots and then tap Remove. You can add a Friend back at any time.
By default, the Discover feed does not tie your content to your profile. Only friends can identify your username with a content post.
In your profile, tap the three dots, and then tap Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account including friends and content (photos/videos, favorites, likes, memories).
